END STOP AND SEARCH OF INNOCENT BLACK AND ETHNIC MINORITIES
Stop and search needs to end as young black and ethnic minorities are being unlawfully targeted and I believe it is racially motivated. This has not happened to me personally but it affects many people within my community. I have a friend this has happened to and my parents generations and is still happens today and it is not RIGHT. The police cannot be allowed to get away with this as I feel they are abusing their power and targeting black men and women and also Asian people and using unlawful methods and it needs to stop
Why is this important?
As a black person this infuriates me and appuals me and I find it disgusting but not surprising regarding the polices treatment of black people. We entrust the police to keep our streets safe not viciously target BAME PEOPLE, I find in today's society this is appalling and needs to change. The government needs to find better was of conducting this. I don't want my sisters or cousins generation to experience this.
