Fair and open access for Cornwall and Plymouth

The tolls on the Saltash Bridge and Torpoint Ferry restrict access for business, domestic and social interaction. The government provides direct and indirect subsidies in Wales and Scotland to communities in similar situations. This is discrimination and in a low wage area restricts movement and opportunity.

Why is this important?

Use of the bridge and ferry is necessary for many local businness and adds a cost that is not controllable. The cost also limits acccess for domestic and social interaction.
