Fairer family court decisions for victims of Domestic Abuse
There needs to be more education about Domestic Abuse for local authorities (especially North Somerset) to protect the victims, their children and their families.
Families are being ripped apart for reporting Domestic Abuse and violence. Why are the victims being punished? Why are children being put up for closed adoption instead of supporting, sign posting and even educating victims in where and how to get support for them and be able to move forward.
It is well publicised the damaging affect on children from being taken away from their abused family and extended family who could help re build their lives free from abuse.

Why is this important?
Children are being ripped away from loving parents because of the person responsible for violence, abuse, coercion, gas lighting, threats to them, their friends, family or children. Victims should not be silenced in order to keep their children.
