Publish and implement policies that promote the environment, reduce carbon emissions and ensure high standards of labour conditions in low-wages countries where they have factories.
As one of the companies that signed the Bangladesh Fire and Safety Accord , Mango should pressure the Bangladesh government to urgently remove legal and practical obstacles to unionization.
Mango should support the independent inspections of their factories and the factories of other large retailers. It should put an end to companies inspecting their own factories which is clearly failing.

Why is this important?
The Rana Plaza disaster shocked the world as we realised the ill treatment of the workers who make our clothes.
We want to make sure that garment workers are protected and that the fashion industry takes more responsibility for treating workers with dignity and respect and that labour laws and environmental laws are observed.
