We must stop using fossil gas and replace it with green gas from anaerobic digesters. This will help with our climate change promise and rescue us from the world market price hikes for fossil gas. Ecotricity uses grass as the feed stock for the digester. They get 3 grass cuts per year and fertilise the grass with residue from the digester. Sweet corn is grown all over our country for use in diesel fuel. This could all be used for digesters when diesel fuel is banned.

Why is this important?

The petrol companies would like us to do nothing and compete for fossil gas. We should change to green gas from digesters and ban fossil gas. Green gas is cheaper and better than fossil gas.
