Give monetary value of the King's portrait directly to schools

Education over pictures! School budgets are stretched beyond their limits. Rather than receive a portrait of the King, any headteacher would prefer to receive its cash value in their budget, to spend on resources such as books, or food for breakfast club.

Why is this important?

Children need education more than they need to know what the King looks like. With budgets tighter than ever, public money must be spent wisely, on things that truly benefit the British people.
