Give Ukrainian's sanctuary
We are appealing to the UK Government to put more effort into speeding up the process for those with relatives in the UK to be able to come here. Also there needs to be more assistance at the border in Calais to help people that be able to make an application to come to the UK. The application needs to be more straightforward for people. The people need to be able to come now.
Why is this important?
There are over 2 million who have fled from Ukraine due to the wat. Many have fled to European Countries, many times f whom are poor. Poland has taken over 1 million and passed a law stating they can work. UK have taken relatively very few. The system of bureaucracy is unnecessarily complicated and after all they have been through many are being turned away. We must call on the Government to act and act now to ease the suffering of these refugees and the unfair burden on our European neighbours.
