Give us a vote for None of the above
Add to all national and local election ballot papers, a box in which the voter can record the legally binding vote:
None of the Above
to indicate they do not approve of any of the candidates presented, such that if a majority in that constituency voted none of the above, all candidates would be deemed not to be eligible and that constituency electoin would be re-run until a majority approved one candidate.

Why is this important?
In a true democracy, the people's opinion should be heard. The Ipsos Mori 2016 Veracity Index records a 15% trust in politicians. This is deeply shocking but not surprising because under the UK's First past the post balloting system, voters are silenced from speaking our massive level of disapproval. If as an elecorate we do not trust any of them all we can do is not vote, select the least worst of a bad bunch - or spoil the ballot paper with a protest that will just be ignored! With this simple addition, if we had a 'None of the above' box on our ballot papers, we could show them and change politics for the better: if the majority in a constituency ticked that box, all candidates would have to be replaced and the vote re-run to find someone we genuinely approve of, and end our culture of 'least worst' voting, change the arrogance of the party politics to one that really has to get the voters to believe in them, and put some trust back in politics.
