Higher tax allowance for pensioners
To make state pension non taxable and to make the Tax Allowance for pensioners higher.
Why is this important?
I'm 73 on standard state pension.
Many years ago I was advised by the tax office to share my marriage allowance with my husband. My husband pays taxes on his pension. He is 74, and now im being billed as well.
I get basic pension, nothing else but now I'm being taxed even though I'm under the threshold.
I'm struggling as it is without paying tax.
