How can MPs accept subsidised food and drink, when we have Food Banks

Whilst we have such things as Food Banks why do they have subsidised food and drink available to the highest paid Civil Servants and Government officials. 24 hours a day every day.

Why is this important?

The House of Lords cost the public in excess of 20 million pounds a year for what, it’s a retirement club for the highest paid privileged members of society for life paid for from the public purse.
