Include all workers with Jubilee Bank Holiday!

Many frontline workers who have kept this country going will not benefit from the 4 day weekend at all! As many employers don't pay extra for bank holidays and this extra one will not be recognised by their contracts. Many will be out of pocket with extra childcare costs for primary school aged children!
Care assistants in nursing homes, people like my mum, who desperately wanted to hug her grandkids, but followed the rules whilst Downing St. partied, will not benefit.
My husband, who is a zero hours agency worker, stands to loose 16hrs pay that week! The place he is currently working at doesn't open for bank holidays, so the core staff will all get a full weeks pay with a 4 day weekend, whilst he has no entitlement!
We should be coming together as a nation to celebrate something positive. This governments exclusion of workers who have put themselves at risk and made sacrifices during the pandemic, often for the lowest pay, is a slap in the face!
This government needs to amend employment rights to ensure that all workers have at least 28 days (pro rata) entitlement with extra bank holidays automatically added!
