Increase staff EV charging facilities
The EV charging facilities on site for staff of the Liverpool Women’s are currently drastically under resourced. The current staff charging unit has become obsolete as new users are unable to be added and RFID cards issued. With only one charger for staff and the growing number of staff moving to EVs through work place car schemes demand for charging on site has risen rapidly over the last 12 months and has now outstripped capacity.
As colleagues we have tried to manage capacity as best we can with the use of a WhatsApp group to arrange swapping but it has come to the point where we feel this needs to be raised and to ask for additional facilities to be installed. Not only to replace the obsolete unit but to create greater capacity of EV charging which would align with the Trust’s green plan.

Why is this important?
To get greater access to charging on site and to resolve the issue with the obsolete unit in the staff car park.
