Introduce a Public Sector National Minimum Wage (PSNW)

We are petitioning here for the Government to introduce a new Public Sector National Minimum Wage to increase wages across the sector. This would increase drive and motivation for people to take up jobs in these sectors (which the government is striving for from its manifesto in 2019) as well as taking the worry of money away as we head deeper into the cost of living crisis
A win for this would see hundreds of thousands of people better off in these sectors, driving up employment and improvements to services offered due to a reduced pressure

Why is this important?

As we end 2022, a wave of strike action from Nurses, Rail Staff, and Postal Staff has ripples across the UK. All of which are striking for changes to their current pay

Currently the average wage for a;
Nurse is between £25,000 and £30,000
Postal Worker is £25,000
Rail Staff is £33,000

Compared to other jobs available this is inherently very low with some of the public sector workers having to run households, pay bills and feed children
