Justice for Joel

I would like the law to change on the law for people who share naked photographs of others online without consent

Why is this important?

My son Joel thomas crockett devine committed suicide 26.04.2019 the c.p.s have refused to press charges against the person's who threatened used naked photographs and bullied my son to death I am left with ptsd over the loss of my beautiful son the grief and heartache is unmeasurable for me and my family the term malicious intent is used on the laws belief that how much maliciousness was intentional in Joel's case he was so distressed he took his own life Joel was a happy go lucky humorous caring loving boy who was adored by so many I would like to bring in a change of the law on people who prey on others vulnerabilitys to gain explicit material and use online with others to cause distress to the point of suicide or suicidal thoughts and desires I would like the term malicious intent used by our justice system to be scrutinised I feel this term is making hate crimes revenge pornography and bullying virtually impossible to bring a prosecution in Joel's case the malicious intent aspect of what happened to Joel should never of been brought into question Joel's inquest 11.09.2020 held at Gérard majella courthouse Liverpool coroner Anita bhardwaj stated that she feels the messages and naked images shared influenced Joel into taking his own life I may never get justice for Joel but I hope to prevent a case like Joel's ever happening again thank you to everyone supporting my cause Ruth marie crockett
