Karl McCartney MP should apologise

Dear Karl, you were recently discussing the selection of Lincoln Labour’s parliamentary candidate, Lucy Rigby. One of your fellow Conservative Party members, a Lincoln County Cllr, compared her selection to a picture of a group of glamour models posing in their underwear. You have done nothing whatsoever to distance yourself from these comments. Instead you said “those with a sense of humour will appreciate” and you said you believed that people who objected to this demeaning attitude towards women needed to “get over themselves”. We think you should apologise for your remarks.
