Make an apology to Lord Bramall for the extreme anxiety, stress and reputational damaged he suffered by the unjustified, ill founded and baseless allegations made against him by an anonymous male. The Metropolitan Police failed to make even the most cursory investigation into the background of the complainant and then failed to act with due haste when it was very clear that the allegations were false.
