Mak A Stand l Words Hurt

there needs to be measures put into place in order to stop and prevent cyber bullying in schools. . One of five children between the ages on 10-15 experience cyber bullying which is simply just too high. No child should have to go through this pain which is my campaign is here to help make change and lower the statistics and the cyber bullying that is going on today.

Why is this important?

I have many aims for my campaign. I want to raise awareness of cyber bullying and making the statistics well known as out of 122,387 UK students, 27% have identified their bullying experiences as cyber. Raise awareness on the awful affects that it can have. The effects at a glance:
• Depression 36%
• Suicidal thoughts 33%
• Self-harm 27%
• Truancy 18%
• Eating disorders 12%
• Attempted suicide 11%
I want to lower the rates and prevent cyber bullying. I am going to make children feel safer and more confident in themselves as there are three main reasons for cyber bullying. Appearances (47%), interests (30%) and clothing choices (17%). It is unfair and nasty to bully people.
