Make it mandatory in the UK, to learn basic British Sign Language (BSL) in school

Yes there is specialist schools for hearing impaired children but teaching children British Sign Language (BSL)/ Sign Supported English (SSE) in the UK, would reduce bullying, help children communicate more and not singled out, and it will also boost moral and confidence in young children. Just like learning English is mandatory, BSL/SSE should be to.

Why is this important?

To get attention and the message across to the government and learning sector. It will reduce some bullying, help children communicate more and boost their moral and confidence.
