Make mirror wills binding

In Britain, a will made by 2 people, stating that, after the death of the 2nd partner, the money is to be distributed in a certain way, can be changed by the 2nd partner after the first has died.  This means that, in many cases, the wishes of the deceased are not respected and the 2nd partner can disinherit the children of the person who died first. Sadly, this happens.

A mirror will should be legally binding, otherwise there is no point in the first partner participating.

Please campaign for this to end.  There are many other will options that cannot be abused in this way,

Why is this important?

A person’s last will and testament should be legally binding guarded so that they can die assured that their last wishes are respected.
