Make the 1st Monday of November, "Labour Day Bank/Public Holiday"
The UK is one the few countries in the Western world that does not have a day that celebrates the hard work and sacrifice's made by the people who help keep this country running. Last year while so many of us who where unable to work. There where those key workers who kept on going providing essential services.
By creating a extra Public Holiday which everyone can enjoy & which celebrates the many who we depend on would show appreciation & recognition.
I also believe it would be beneficial for the mood of the nation to have a Public Holiday in November, when have so many close together in the spring & summer. But nothing in the autumn.
