Mental health part of the national curriculum

I would ask the government to make mental health and well-being should now due to the global pandemic and the national lockdown restrictions that followed and how it has effected the general public health and well-being that being youngsters who have had to distance themselves from their school friends and the rise in mental health and well-being i. Youngsters since the pandemic started in March last year their has been a number of rises in mental health this includes self harming and suicide , Depression And other mental health issues that have increased I now fear that if we don’t act now and address the issues of mental health and well-being then I fear a lot of those who live in our communities who going around with undiagnosed mental health issues and the reason for this is that hospitals and GPS where closed during the lockdowns and to get a proper psychological assessment would have been impossible due to all community health centres being closed I would now like to see the government’s work together and develop a new mental health and well-being act one that is affordable to anyone and everyone.

Thank you

Why is this important?

Our health and well-being is the most important thing to look after if you don’t look after who will.

The government has a responsibility to raise awareness of our health and well-being and not just ours but those who also work in our communities and workplaces those who work in our emergency services like the NHS the police and fire services and the care workers and key workers their health and well-being is the most important thing and the government needs to act now on these issues and end the stigma around mental health issues and get everyone talking about mental health issues in their communities and workplaces.

Thank you
