Motor insurance scam
Make it illegal for motor insurance companies to sell policy holders details after an accident to third parties such as solicitors.
Why is this important?
Solicitors are "encouraging" motorists to falsely claim for personal injury thus increasing motor insurance policies.
Having informed my insurance company I was NOT injured in an accident, to-date I have received calls from four different solicitors "encouraging" me to falsely claim for personal injury.
A week after the accident the other driver involved in the accident angrily stopped me and said he had been contacted by a solicitor who told him I had made a personal injury claim and he should do the same thing.
