Negotiate new trade agreements with non-EU countries

Start negotiations with our trading partners outside the EU and potential new trading partners to establish more favourable trade agreements once we're no longer covered by/subject to EU trade agreements with those countries.

Why is this important?

Less than half our exports of goods and services go to the E.U. - and the proportion has been falling since 2008. We need to secure and improve our trading relations with non-E.U countries to boost exports to them in order to rebalance and stabilise our economy. Obviously negotiations over exports to the E.U will take time but trade agreements between the UK and individual non-E.U countries may be achieved may swiftly.
