NO MORE BEDROOM TAX!

The 'Bedroom Tax' is a poorly constructed policy that carries many negative impacts on some of the most vulnerable members of society. The policy NEEDS to be abolished or reformed to properly fit the needs of social housing occupants.

Why is this important?

The reduction has caused residents to suffer a lower quality of life, with less weekly budget it has resulted in occupants:
- Having inadequate central heating.
- Not being able to afford a feasible amount of food.
- Suffering a drop in mental health due to stress.
- Entering rent arrears

Two thirds of those affected by the 'Bedroom Tax' collected some from of disability benefits. Demonstrating that the policy directly effects those that require a support not an extra tax that is out of their control!
