To: The public... 100,000 votes? NOT House Lords/Comms as self-serving

NO £115,000 yearly allowance for ANY former prime minister

Public Duty Costs Allowance (PDCA) is a complete mockery. Public money should NOT be used to fund/supplement a former PM's lifestyle (no matter the political party) until the day they die - how is this a 'reimbursement' intended to pay a PM back for expenses spent while fulfilling public duties but has no end date until that individual DIES. This is a self-serving act created by John Major in 1991 after being elected in 1990; it is morally wrong and should be abolished with immediate effect. Many people didn't even know this was a fact until recent days. There is no justification in using public money in this way. Disgraceful. Greedy.

Why is this important?

Public money should never be used in this way and apart from those individuals and their families (public school fees covered??) NO UK citizen stands to benefit. It is in all our interests to get this stopped as soon as possible.
