Open up Trusts to reclaim cash.
Following the scandalous PPE Medpro contract for sterile NHS surgical gowns we must have a change in the law where there is such a criminal level of dishonesty, that all attempts to reclaim the monies stolen should be used. It is reported that some 30 million was put into a trust for the benefit of their children. It seems obvious that all of the money now missing from PPE Medpro has been transferred out for the families benefit and now with the company in administration, has less the 1 million in its accounts. The law ought to be very clear here if you illegally profit by selling unfit, unusable products, then all action will be taken to recover the money including removing assets from trust funds and other personal assets such as from sales of homes and other property.
Why is this important?
I fear this will be yet another example of company failure leading to little of no funds recoverable for the benefit of the NHS while the people responsible continue to live in luxury at our expense.
