Pay OLD age pensioners same as pensioners on New pension

I am a 78 year old born in 1943 I worked at Raleigh Cycles all my life and paid National Insurance for 44 years. Why am I only paid the basic pension because I was born before 1951. Me and thousands of others are paid about £40 per week less than people born after 1951 its not fair and wants changing.
