Petition to oppose the "No waiting at any time" parking restrictions in Heckmondwike

We the residents that live in the immediate vicinity of Cawley Lane School (Heckmondwike Primary School) object to the proposal by Karen North to impose a "No waiting zone at any time" parking restrictions on High Street, Cawley Lane and Commercial Street (Heckmondwike).

Why is this important?

This proposal is unfair and does not take into account the residents and people that use nearby businesses and buildings. Imposing a no waiting zone force people to park further away and exacerbate the parking situation immensely. As well as cause a massive inconvenience to many people whom live in the area.

We accept there is a rush at school drop off and pick up times, this is something that has been going on for 50 years without many serious incidents. We reject the proposal to inconvenience so many people for the complaints of a few people that won't even be affected adversely by the proposed changes.
