Get our East Riding buses back
Get our East Riding buses back. This has been a horrendous two years of everyone's life regarding covid but to get our buses reduced massively, including no buses on a Sunday or after 5pm, now means children cannot socialise, people are struggling to get to work and spending even more on taxis.
Why is this important?
We are a village which is a one mile plus walk up a unlit country road to the nearest stop. This should not be happening and may take a serious incident to happen to someone before anybody listens.
We are on the brink of North Bransholme - Kingswood is edging our way more and more, so we should be entitled to a reliable bus service - our children's buses go through the Kingswood area for high school, they meet their friends in these areas.
Adults have asked to have choice, go to pubs and restaurants in the evenings and know they can get a bus home again. People are wanting to use a service like this.
Please join this campaign to get buses back so people can get some life back out of their four walls. It's not good for anybody and their mental health. So many want this option back - a weekend bus up to Kingswood and late buses back.
People need their lives back and to not feel trapped by a lack of reliable public transport.
