Preserve Our Marine Conservation Areas Like Our National Parks

Marine Conservation Areas are out of sight for most people but they are just as important if not more than National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, SSSI, RAMSARs, etc. They must be protected from domestic and especially foreign trawlers that destroy the sea bed making it like a desert with no sea life able to survive the brutal destruction of trawls.

Why is this important?

All landlubbers, fishermen and those who care about our sovereign waters must contact their MPs, MSP and others in authority over our sea areas out to 12 miles from our coasts to ensure that our sea beds are preserved for young fish, shell fish and other sea creatures to breed and thrive in our coastal waters especially in Marine Conservation Areas.
