Rampton/Woodbeck Crossroads Safety

This site has been the scene of a fatality, numerous accidents and near misses. Also because of changes to local travel arrangements children are crossing at this location to get to the local Primary School putting themselves as greater risk.
The community requests:
1) Nottinghamshire County Council to urgently undertake an assessment of the crossroads at Laneham Road and Rampton Road (between the villages of Woodbeck and Rampton).
2) Nottinghamshire County Council acts on any recommendations promptly.
3) Nottinghamshire County Council meets with residents to listen to our concerns.

Why is this important?
We need you help… We don’t want to hear about another accident at this junction. We no longer want to tell friends and visitors to be careful when they approach the junction as it’s dangerous. We want our children to be safe.
