Recognise Fibromyalgia as an extremely debilitating forever disability

Fibromyalgia is a debilitating condition. It comes with many many symptoms. As a female myself with this condition it gets overlooked for Personal Independence Payment not receiving the right of amount that I'm entitled to. This needs to be equal for everyone. I also suffer with PTSD depression and extreme anxiety that I'm undergoing treatment for. My last PIP decision kept me on standard care with zero mobility. My partner is my full time carer and we have 5 children also I cannot do the majority of things anymore that I was able to several years ago and I highly rely on his support and others to make my life easier.

People diagnosed with my condition shouldn't have to go through a review every 2 years as fibromyalgia isn't curable it's only managed . Unlike myself I struggle daily managing my disability as well as the impact it takes on my mental health and wellbeing . Fibromyalgia needs recognising as a forever disability that needs far less assessments. Having assessments every 2 years shouldn't be viable as it causes more anxiety and puts more strain and stress on people like me with this condition.

Why is this important?

To help others understand this disability more and help others get what they need . I cate about this issue because more people need educating regarding this disease
