Recognise the importance of the Labour Women's Conference

Change the date of the leadership conference so it is not on the already planned Labour Women's conference

Why is this important?

Iain McNicol General Secretary for Labour NEC has agreed that the leadership announcement conference will take place on 24th September 2016. He has done this knowing that it will overshadow the only yearly Labour Women's Conference which takes place on the same day and was planned well in advance of this leadership contest. He is undermining the importance of this conference to the moral and confidence Women members have in the Labour Party's ability to understand their needs and recognition of their achievements.
