Restrict ‘High-Season’ Holiday Price Hikes

Price hiking in high-season for holidays has a disproportionate negative impact on teachers and parents.

As the government has introduced harsher laws on parents taking their children out during school time, they also have a responsibility to make holidays affordable for these groups to go away during ‘high-season’.

The Education Department need to pressurise holiday companies to keep their holiday prices stable throughout the year to help these groups.

Why is this important?

Provides social and economic equality across more sectors of employment as well as for families from more disadvantaged backgrounds
