Save Plymouth airport

Plymouth city council you have the opportunity to save our airport from building contractors. It’s time to negotiate with the lease holders, Sutton Harbour Holdings, to reopen the airport for the future of Plymouth before it’s too late. 36,000 signatures said it’s what we want.

Why is this important?

Plymouth has a wonderful history, beautiful sea front but very poor connectivity. Businesses are suffering and transport by road or rail is not good enough. A reopened airport for modern small electric planes will give future generations more opportunities. The Navy and hospital would benefit from a base at Roborough . Training for would be pilots, opportunities for schoolchildren to take flights over the city. Some of whom have never flown. Experts in all fields are ready and waiting.
