Save Jodrell Bank

The announcement that funds are to be withdrawn from the iconic Jodrell Bank is bound to be anathema to many of us, whether scientists or not. The research carried out there has done so much over so many decades to help us understand better the workings of the universe of which we are part. Call for a reversal of this pointless policy. It won't even save much money.

Everyone is affected by lack of understanding of our place in the world/solar system/cosmos in these increasingly divisive and troublesome times. Trump is trying to shut down science in the US (in the name of the 'great god dollar'), we must not allow right wing influences to do the same here in Europe.
