SAVE KIDZMANIA AGAIN
In 2015 the people of Hackney petitioned in their thousands against a proposal to demolish Kidzmania and replace it with 21 flats and a new community space.
The Council and the Developer responded by agreeing that there should be a new Kidzmania in the new development after a public consultation and public meeting
The space now being offered to Kidzmania had been reduced to such an extent that it is no longer financially viable, and the Council has reversed the decision to ensure that the space was built around the needs of Kidzmania.
This means that Kidamania is likely to close unless you make your voice heard
That decision was taken almost in secret and with no public consultation.
Kidzmania has been in Hackney for almost 30 years, and is one of the few affordable places left to take children. To lose it will be like tearing the heart out of the community.

We saved Kidzmania back in 2015. The People of Hackney spoke up and persuaded the Council that our children matter.
