Save Sully’s Glebe Field
The Glebe Fields has been at the centre of Sully village life since it was presented to the village in the 12th-century by Reginald de Sully.
Over many years the Glebe Fields has been used by many residents for many “lawful sports” and pastimes, including cricket, picnics, walking, blackberry picking, etc, with unrestricted access.
The residents of Sully wish to Register the Glebe Fields as a Village Green maintains the fields as unrestricted public open space for use by the Community of Sully.

Why is this important?
The Glebe Fields are one of the last areas in Sully with unrestricted access for residents to use at all times. If the Glebe Fields are not maintained as such and Registered as a Village Green, there is a very great probability that the land will be developed in order to locate an access road to a new multi-million pound Gypsy and Traveller site by the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
