Save the Govan Graving Docks from Housing Development

Many members of the local and national community object to the plans that the developers have proposed for the Govan Graving Docks. The four-story flats will block many local peoples view of the Clyde. The flats are also not going to be social housing and will most likely be unaffordable. Protect the Govan Graving Docks and sign our petition. We believe that the docks should be protected as part of Glasgow's history and kept open for locals to use. We think it would be best to preserve the docks as a heritage and environmental site down by the river.

Why is this important?

We also believe that the Docks should be a place for the local community to use and that they should have the main say in how the space is used. Nature spots and heritage spots by the River Clyde in Glasgow are rare. We do not want to lose another special place to gentrification and poorly thought out development plans. Please share and sign our petition to get our voices heard and save the docks.
