Scrap Driver CPC Renewal

The Driver CPC renewal is a complete waste of time…. All new HGV drivers have taken the CPC but what is the point of being put through the same thing every 5 years? Once taken it should be renewed automatically by submitting a application like you do when renewing your drivers licence. Why should hgv drivers have to pay £250 and sit for 35 hours every 5 years to renew something they have already done?

Why is this important?

Without the support from other HGV drivers this petition would not gain ground. It is something most HGV drivers disagree with…
