Sheds and Solar Panels

There are many large sheds being constructed for warehouses for on-line retail and other enterprises. The roofs of these sheds would make ideal locations for solar panels. Could planning regulations include the requirement to cover roofs with panels whenever possible. Many businesses also have large sheds for storage. The electricity generated could offset the demand by the business at the site as well as making a contribution to the Government's carbon reduction target.
