Single use plastics are a scourge and must be abolished - NOW.
Dear Rosie.
This issue is nothing new; indeed it has been making headlines for far too long and seemingly very little being done about it.
Confection,bread and biscuit/cake producers being among the worst offenders with little more than a cursory note printed on their packaging "Not currently recyclable" or recycle with bags at large supermarket.
A considerably more assertive effort needs putting in place NOW before this issue can get any more of a problem.
This is a world wide issue and needs world wide attention and really positive action.
