Instead of littering our country with wind turbines, the UK government should invest in solar panels for every home in the UK.
The cost of this could be funded by selling the excess energy to the national grid before being sold to industry and businesses.
Why is this important?
The UK needs to invest in renewable energy but the cost of wind turbines is high both financially and to the landscape.
Solar panels on each home will generate electricity for the home owner and feed excess back into the national grid. Costs of solar panels are falling and could provide the answer to our energy needs.
