Stagecoach Don't Reduce the 34 Bus Service!
We, the bus users of Thanet, call upon Stagecoach not to reduce the 34 bus service and to instate its previous route from Ramsgate to Minnis Bay. With the Thanet Community Hub opening in the former Carey Building, the 34 is the only regular bus service that links Margate and Ramsgate via St. Peter's serving the new medical facility.
Why is this important?
If you are a bus user and rely on this service to get to work, go shopping, visit friends, QEQM Hospital, the new medical facility at the junction of Westwood Road and Northwood Road, any reduction in the frequency will have an impact on you, possibly creating a sense of isolation, additional cost and possibly affecting your ability to get to work.
In recent years we have lost many bus services, we cannot risk another loss in frequency or even the route itself.
