Steve Barclay must resign
After his disgraceful comment that healthcare workers (via their professional unions) were deliberately choosing to inflict harm on patients, referring to the recent industrial action, his position as Health Secretary is untenable. He must resign immediately.
Why is this important?
Steve Barclays recent comments about healthcare workers demonstrates the complete lack of understanding that those in Government have for the current working environment of the NHS. Industrial action is the last resort of those who have not beem listened to for years and his comment that we are deliberately putting patients in harms way shows utter disrespect for the NHS workforce.
