Stop the blue-badge disabled parking scheme being abused by able-bodied drivers and passengers. Also, to keep disabled parking spaces as they are, and not being used by other vehicles, or objects (skips, for example).
Why is this important?
Because many people struggle with parking, and getting in and out of cars, so these spaces are vital for blue-badge holders, as many people can't walk too far (if at all, like myself).
I am a disabled amputee so I have to use a sliding board to get in and out of any car, so the width of a disabled parking space is vital for me, as I need my wheelchair by the side of a car door too.
