STOP DOMESTIC HEATING OIL COST CAP DISCRIMINATION IN RURAL UK
STOP DOMESTIC HEATING OIL COST CAP DISCRIMINATION IN RURAL UK
There is a maximum charge CAP on gas and electric applied to consumers heating their homes using these commodities. THERE IS NO SUCH CAP PRICE FOR RURAL CONSUMERS THAT HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO USE DOMESTIC HEATING OIL TO HEAT THEIR HOMES. These consumers are not able to access a gas main, usually these homes are in rural areas, Northumberland, English / Scottish Borders, Cumbria, Welsh borders, Devon, Cornwall, Yorkshire dales and other rural counties. There is a clear case of discrimination that needs to be addressed.

Why is this important?
To rectify a clear discrimination between people who use gas and or electronic to heat their homes and rural communities that have no alternative but pay very high uncapped prices for domestic heating oil.
