Stop Lincolnshire County Council Cuts!

We, the undersigned, wish to protest against the proposed £40 million cuts to essential public services in Lincolnshire in the next financial year, and all further cuts over the following 3 years.
Our concern is that these cuts will cause unacceptable hardship to many families and individuals. Central government is responsible for the cuts to the County Council budget, so it needs to repeal them.

Why is this important?

The effect of these cuts will be particularly severe in Lincolnshire (rural bus services and libraries are especially under threat), as it is an area in which low pay is widespread.

Such measures are not acceptable in a civilised 21st century democracy, and should be scrapped immediately.
