Stop prescription charges for the mentally ill

As somebody who has a mental illness I find it difficult to find justification for charging the mentally ill who work for their necessary medication. When I a capable of work I have to pay £15 every month for my prescription medication.

If I was terminally ill my prescription would be free but mental illness is a lifetime disease too - why are we any different?
