Stop schools locking toilets and denying children use

Children need to have access to toilet facilities throughout the day. To deny them this basic right can have serious consequences for their physical and mental health in later life. Schools need to recognise they should not be causing problems for children's health and wellbeing.

Why is this important?

It is dangerous for a child to be denied toilet access. It can result in a loss of self confidence and cause many long term health and wellbeing problems which can surface in later life.
